The process of emigrating or simply going to other countries for livelihood started in the early 1900’s. According to our memories, the following brave people took the dare to venture out of India. In those days, it was really an act of great courage for a resident of a country which was under foreign rule to venture outside India without knowing any language at all other than Punjabi. We salute these pioneers.
